Has just ended at the Italian Pavilion at Expo 2015, the week of leadership dedicated to Como. The project Lake Como Essence, rewarded by an excellent response in terms of attendance (30,000 total visits), has been promoted by the Chamber of Commerce and through SistemaComo2015 SviluppoComo, in order to illustrate to visitors the excellence of Como area.
The exhibition space Lake Como Essence is designed by Ilaria Marelli and enriched by video installations Olo Creative Farm; inside visitors flocked could find all the elements that characterize the Como area, from the most traditional to the most innovative. Also present were the reproductions of the most scenic of the town of Como and the first basin of Lake Como. The success of the exhibition was made possible thanks to the valuable contributions of many actors in the area (companies, associations, professionals, in addition to the bodies already mentioned) who provided content and materials appropriate to tell the better the essence of Como, between tradition and innovation. As a complementary event, NodoLibri is the issuer of this agile but full pamphlet, with text in both Italian and English, freely downloadable in digital format by all concerned; it is attached in hard copy for every purchase of our volume. In it is an immersive narrative space in the Como area, outlined, in brief but comprehensive, under three different aspects: production; environment, landscape and culture, research and innovation.
